OUR FARM

Welcome to our two-acre fruit farm in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Our property is located in the hamlet of Betenase, which means village under the palms in Akan/Twi. Betenase is located off of the Suhum-Koforidua road near the town of Kwayhia. Our farm in Betenase is home to our manufacturing facility where we make and procure items for BLAXTAR.NET.

We have fruit and vegetable trees of all varieties growing on our farm. Our sustainable farming practices allows our produce to flourish and grow year round. When you come to Blaxtar Essentials Farms, you will see coconut trees, mango trees, guava trees, tangerine trees, orange trees, lemon tress, papaya tress, avocado trees, cocoa trees, plantain trees, soursop trees, royal palms, and more.

We also grow vegetables a smaller scale. Be careful where you walk - there are pineapples, cassava, corn, tomatoes, and yams growing afoot! Our farm is full of healthy, fresh, produce ready to go from farm to table. Our goal is to become a complete self-sustainable ecosystem. We still have a long way to go, and thus will be planting additional crops like pepper, garden egg, onions, ginger, garlic, cabbage, cucumber, carrots, lettuce, celery, and okra.

Managing a two- acre farm is not easy. It requires daily attention and care to make sure that the land is properly weeded, watered, and pruned. Each day we make our rounds -- checking for fruiting trees, mending broken fence poles, and checking for pests. Our farm stands out for the diversity of plants growing from our fertile ground.
